Soph’ - 30yo - Freelance Creative - Nature-Lover - Unbelievably Human

Having grown up in the forest, rarely without a camera in hand as a teen, it was inevitable that I ended up here - waffling to you about my work. 

While taking pretty pictures of lovely people was always my teenage-dream, it wasn’t until early 2025 that I finally had the courage to allow myself to live that fantasy.

I had worked various careers; in the holistic health and wellbeing space, as a competitive strength athlete and then later on, in health and medical marketing.

And then, one fateful day, I grew tired of being tired, and quit the corporate job that made me miserable.

When I was asked to cover the @cordeliajamesboutiques Winter Collection, I knew we’d have a great project one our hands… but wow. The location, the outfits, the light - and of course, the beautiful Zoe and Meg! How lucky am I? I adore

Ever since, I have faced my fears and found joy in my work; shooting personal brands with the coolest founders, some super-rad businesses and even a few love stories. 

My style is down-to-earth – keeping things simple and wholeheartedly human, prioritising joy, confidence (that you may not know you have… yet), and the intention behind the shoot. 

I work in real environments, mostly directly in nature, using light as it comes and goes, and my goal is to create imagery that feels honest, grounded, and connective.

My clients are real people; personal brands, small businesses, and individuals who care about telling their story with integrity.
